cherry bomb
Cherry Bomb is a thoughtfully designed magazine created with dedication to exploring the ongoing and multifaceted struggle for equal rights across all genders. This publication serves as a bridge connecting the past with the present, highlighting pivotal moments, important milestones, and influential voices that have significantly shaped the gender equality movement over the years. From the groundbreaking efforts of historic trailblazers who laid the foundation to the impactful work of contemporary figures continuing the fight today, each section thoughtfully sheds light on the complex evolution of gender justice across different eras and societies.
In addition to in-depth feature stories on key individuals, Cherry Bomb includes carefully curated segments focusing on recent events, noticeable cultural shifts, and grassroots activism that relentlessly challenge societal norms and push existing boundaries. Whether you are an advocate, a student, or simply a curious reader, this magazine offers valuable insight, motivation, and a more nuanced understanding of the ongoing fight for equality in all its diverse and dynamic forms.
For this project, I collaborated closely with two colleagues from my Bachelor’s course and together, we developed the concept, decided on the editorial language, and determined the content for the publication. The cover design and all accompanying visuals were created by me, with the intention of keeping the design both simple and impactful, allowing it to potentially serve as a striking decorative piece in various spaces.
