Shapes & sips
I am constantly driven by the desire to push the boundaries of my creative and technical abilities. Recently, I found inspiration in the vibrant and uniquely crafted canned cocktails from Stockholm Bränneri. This sparked an idea: why not transform these dynamic beverages into a series of artistic posters for interior decor?
The project became a playground for experimentation in digital illustration. I challenged myself to capture the realism of the cocktail cans, focusing on intricate details and textures that bring the objects to life. Beyond just replicating the visuals, I dove into the tactile quality of the surfaces, using layered textures to evoke a tangible feel in a digital medium.
In parallel, I explored the art of handmade typography, crafting lettering styles that would complement and enhance the illustrations. The goal was to weave text and image together into a cohesive whole—each element harmonizing and supporting the other to create posters that are not only visually appealing but also rich in personality and character.
This creative journey allowed me to evolve, blending traditional artistry with modern techniques, and ultimately producing artwork that celebrates both the aesthetics of design and the spirit of Stockholm Bränneri’s craft cocktails.
